Five Months!

Niall is getting bigger by the day and learning new tricks. Last week he started sitting up with the support of his hands and loves grabbing his toys with both hands. We tried his first vegetable, sweet potatoes, which he appears to like so far.
Day care is going well, apparently they have him finger painting and making valentines. Very talented. Tomorrow we leave for our first long car ride to Lake Tahoe! Wish us luck- 10 hours in the car:)

Niall is still resistant to tummy time. He sure is cute in just a diaper!

Niall Jr began eating rice cereal this week, such a fun time! As you can see, he is not the neatest eater. It seems that he needs some practice on getting the food into his belly instead of on his face. We will work on it!

Brendan returns!

Uncle Brendan is back from Afghanistan! He stayed with us for the first few days until he found an apartment of his own a few blocks away. We are happy that Brendan is stationed here for the next few years. He is already good buds with the little guy and has even watched him on occasion so mom can get to yoga class or hit the grocery store. Thanks Uncle Brendan!
Papa Rick and Grandma Mo came to visit this month too. We hit the zoo and spent an afternoon in the sun at the Hotel Del on Coronado.
